Meli and Phoenix take a look at some of their favorite and least favorite horror movie remakes. What they felt were misses. There are so many things that can go wrong when trying to re-imagine a movie so many know and love. What exactly makes a good remake? Sometimes movies should be left the way they are and not touched. Do you think some of these movies shouldn't have been remade? Let us know what you think.
Texas Cold Brew
Inspired by the 2003 remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, this drink takes a classic cold brew coffee and ads a nice little bite.
Ingredients:
2 oz. Tequila
1 oz. Kalhua
4 oz. Coffee
1/2 Fresh Squeezed Lime
Coffee Grounds & Sugar on the Brim of the Glass
*Brew coffee
*Place mixture of coffee grounds and sugar on a small plate with a ratio of 1:2
*Using a mason jar glass, run lime around the brim to wet
*Place glass upside down on coffee/sugar mixture and twist to cover entire brim
*Mix tequila, Kahlua, and coffee in a shaker with ice and shake well.
*Add ice to glass
*Pour mixture into glass
*Add a splash of lime
